Greens NSW MP and Firearms spokesperson David Shoebridge said:

"Barry O'Farrell has taken up where Labor left off by cutting ugly deals with the right wing Shooters Party to promote guns and hunting in NSW.

"For over a decade, NSW governments have let more and more hunters onto public land and expanded bloodsports like duck hunting and pig dog hunting.

"Working together, the community, environment and animal welfare groups have defeated government proposals before, and we can do it again

"Our national parks shouldn't be political for the O'Farrell government's side deals on privatisation and cuts to public services," Mr Shoebridge said.
