Brown calls on Federal Government to review Nuclear Reactor

Following revelations of the earthquake fault line through the site of the
proposed second nuclear reactor at Lucas Heights in Sydney, Greens Senator
Bob Brown has called on the Howard government to abandon the site and the
project.

"With memories of the death and destruction in Newcastle still fresh, the
prospect of building an Argentinean nuclear reactor on a fault line in
Sydney is both absurd and irresponsible.

Senator Brown will question the government on the issue in the Senate next
week.
