Haberfield school allocated fence funding in wake of security concerns
Greens MP Jamie Parker today announced he had secured an assurance from the Education Minster that a fence would be installed at Haberfield Public School, following representations made on behalf of the school community.
"We need to ensure that parents, students and teachers feel safe at the school," Mr Parker said.
"I've been working closely with members of the school community and have been particularly focused on supporting the application for a fence at the school. I have written to the Minister, spoken with him directly, and questioned him in Parliament on this matter.
"This is an important win for our community and I want to thank the school community for all its efforts in supporting this great local school," Mr Parker said.
