Greens challenge NRMA’s new Sydney to Hunter motorway plans

Lee Rhiannon is visiting the Hunter on Tuesday February 5 to meet with
local community organisations and Greens groups to discuss transport
solutions for the Hunter to Sydney corridor and build opposition to the
NRMA plan for a new motorway. 
 
While in Newcastle Ms Rhiannon will also meet with retired union
members of the maritime and mining industries to discuss the growing No
Sell Off campaign opposed to the privatisation of the NSW electricity
sector.
