Bob Brown to launch the Greens State Election Campaign today at 11am

The Greens are Australia's fastest growing political party and as the
mood for change sweeps the community the Greens are prepared to take on
issues other parties avoid.

"The Greens are the only party calling for a moratorium on coal-fired
power stations and a rapid shift to renewable energy in order to take
serious action on climate change," Giz Watson MLC said. 

"We are the only party that will put the provision of quality,
adequately resourced community services - including health, education
and housing - ahead of tax cuts."  

"We are the only consistent voice for real legal reforms to ensure
integrity and accountability - on issues like political donations,
regulation of lobbyists and independent auditing of government
advertising."

The Greens have an experienced Upper House team, who will be at the
campaign launch. They are supported by a talented set of Lower House
candidates covering every seat in the state.
