Greens Senator Kerry Nettle will debate ALP shadow Environment
spokesperson Peter Garrett at UNSW today.

What: Politics & the environment debate between the Greens and ALP

When: 3 PM today, 3 September 2007

Where: Theatre 4, Central Lecture Block, UNSW (Best approach from Gate
8, High St, Randwick). 

Background:  UNSW's student  environment collective has organised an
event:  "Politics and the Environment" that will allow 15 minutes for
speakers to advocate their party policies regarding the environment in
light of the current environmental climate, particularly nuclear energy,
clean coal, deforestation and carbon trading. There will be also opening
the forum up for questions and answers.  Malcolm Turnbull has declined
an invitation.
