Greens take Climate Change demands to NSW Parliament for World
Environment Day

What:  To mark World Environment Day Greens Senator Kerry Nettle attends
a protest outside NSW Parliament to press for real action on Climate
Change. 

Why: 	 To highlight NSW Government inaction on climate change and it's
hypocritical support for massive new coal mines. 

Where: Outside NSW Parliament, Macquarie Street, Sydney.

When: 	12:00pm, Tuesday 5 June 2007.

Photo Op: Federal Senator Kerry Nettle, Christine Phelps (Save Anvil
Hill Alliance), Jeni Reed (Sydney Uni Environment Collective) a range of
protesters and more.
 
Building on the successful weekend protest against the proposed Anvil
Hill open cut coal mine, The Greens and environment groups will now
taking their message for real action on climate change to the NSW
Parliament to mark World Environment Day.
