MEDIA ALERT


Australian Greens Senator for Tasmania Christine Milne will deliver the
keynote address at the Tasmanian Greens Annual Conference.

She will speak about climate change and Peak Oil, and the campaign to
rescue the Senate from Coalition control at the federal election due
next year.

Media are welcome to cover the speech which will be followed by a news
conference.

WHEN: Saturday, 12 August 2006. Senator Milne's address will commence at
approximately 12 noon.
