Press conference - Resident submissions calling for urgent change.



Tamara Smith MP will receive submissions on behalf of a number of residents in the Ballina Electorate.



The Minister for Fair Trading is currently reviewing the legislation that regulates residential land lease communities. The Residential (Land Lease) Communities Act 2013 regulates permanent sites in caravan and residential parks and sets out the rights and responsibilities of residents and operators.



There are at least 27 such communities in the Ballina Electorate whose residents have raised concerns about a number of unfair and unreasonable impacts of the current regulatory framework.
