All violence in Israel Palestine must stop - Greens

Australian Greens Leader Christine Milne has raised deep concerns about the recent escalation of violence in the ongoing conflict between Israel and Palestine.

"The Greens extend our deepest condolences to the families of all those affected by the violence, including to the families of the Palestinians that have died in recent days, and the young Israeli men, and Palestinian man, murdered earlier this month," said Senator Milne.

"The Greens are calling for calm on both sides, imploring all parties to the conflict to refrain from further escalation of violence and to fully utilise the law to bring those responsible for criminal acts to justice.

"The attacks are leading to death and destruction of civilians and must stop. The suffering that this conflict creates is too great.

"A peaceful two-state solution cannot be achieved while violence from both sides continues."
