Transparency needed on paid parental leave: Bandt

The government must release its secret Audit Commission report and comments about paid parental leave, Greens Deputy Leader, Adam Bandt, said today.

"The Greens have consistently argued that the government's paid parental leave scheme should be made fairer," said Mr Bandt.

"The secretive Commission of Audit is a front for the Abbott government's agenda for harsh cuts to public services. Rather than selectively leak parts of the report, the government should release the Commission of Audit's work in full so that the public knows what's going on."
