Education and Energy: The future for New England

Greens NSW MP John Kaye, spokesperson on Education and Energy, will be
visiting Armidale and Glen Innes on Tuesday to talk about the future of
education and energy in New England.

John will be attending a number of events that address the key issues of
university funding, the future of TAFE and the possibility of a 100%
Renewable NSW.

John will meet with staff for the University of New England’s National Day
of Action against the recently announced University funding cuts. John will
then address a public forum on the future of TAFE in New England and across
the state, followed by an evening meeting to discuss the Greens’ plan for a
possible, affordable and an essential 100% Renewable NSW and the future of
public education in the region.
