NDIS debate is no time for a WA v Canberra fight

The Australian Greens said today the WA Government should sign up to the NDIS.

"The way the Premier is talking, you would think that people with disability in WA have all the support they need," Senator Rachel Siewert said today.

"This just isn't true. We need to improve the quality and reach of support and services for people with disability here in WA.

"The best way to achieve this is by joining the NDIS, just as every other state and territory now has. 

"Come on, Mr Barnett. This isn't the time to have a WA vs Canberra fight," Senator Siewert concluded.
