"Tony Windsor and Rob Oakeshott have dedicated themselves to the interests of their electorates over a long period of time and have done a fantastic job representing their local communities at a federal level,"  Greens Leader Senator Christine Milne said.

"There is no doubt they have both played a significant role in ensuring the stability and productivity of this 43rd parliament.

"I particularly want to thank Tony Windsor for having the vision and tenacity to support the establishment of the Clean Energy Package which he has described as his greatest achievement.
