[Greens-Media] Another report shows wind turbines are safe. Can't say the same for coal.

Victorian Greens leader Greg Barber says a new South Australian EPA report
released this week that shows wind farms have little impact on low
frequency noise levels* is just another reason to remove Victoria's
restrictive planning laws against wind farms.
"The EPA compared noise levels at houses near wind farms then measured
again when the wind farm was switched off and took comparison measurements
in other rural and urban areas. They found low frequency noise levels near
wind farms in the study were no greater than levels in similar rural
households," said Greg Barber MLC
"The report is a companion to the South Australian EPA's recent report on
infrasound and used measurements taken at the same time. Ironically, in
both cases the EPA found that wind is the cause of the noise the anti-wind
lobby group complains about - not wind turbines. But it's mostly caused by
people and their household appliances."
"The Napthine government should get rid of the 2km veto on wind turbines
and put it on coal mines and coal-fired power stations instead. Those
things are deadly," said Mr Barber
