[Greens-Media] Greens support call for dedicated Disability Services Minister

Greens MLC Colleen Hartland has supported calls from National Disability 
Services (NDS) for a dedicated Disability Services Minister.*

"In Victoria, there is one Minister for Community Services, Mental Health 
and Senior Victorians.  Community Services includes issues as important as 
child protection and drug & alcohol issues as well as disability 
services."

"Really, each of those issues deserves a full time Minister to bat for 
them."

"As the Disability Rights spokesperson for the Greens in Victoria, I know 
the breadth of the issue, from schooling to workplaces, to public 
transport, housing, a broad range of carers issues and young people in 
nursing homes.  I've certainty raised disability rights issues in 
parliament many more times than the Minister, but I can't see how anybody 
could do justice to this portfolio without neglecting another equally 
important one."
