Florentine Forest fundraiser: dinner dance auction
Special guest speaker Peter Cundall

What: Fundraiser to raise money and awareness to stop logging in the
Upper Florentine Valley in Tasmania
When: 6.30pm, Saturday 29th May, 6.30pm
Where: Forestville Memorial Hall, Crn Starkey St & Warringah Rd,
Forestville, Sydney.
Tickets:  $60 - $40.

*       Peter Cundall is making a special trip to Sydney to speak on the night.
*       Monies raised will go to the Florentine Protection Society.
*       Big ticket auction and silent auctions, including holiday
accommodation in Tasmania, framed photo by Bob Brown and a rug from
Andrew Wilkie.

NSW Greens MP and lead NSW candidate for the Federal Senate, who will
be attending the fundraiser said:

"The struggle to stop logging of the wonderful Upper Florentine
forests needs our urgent support.

"Now is the time to end the carnage in Tasmania's wild forests and
restructure the forests industry towards a sustainable future.

"I look forward to hearing from respected conservationist Peter
Cundall who is currently facing trial for his actions to protect the
Florentine.
