GREENS ON BICKHAM COAL MINE REJECTION

What: 	Greens comment on Premier's decision to knock back the Bickham Coal mine.

Ms Rhiannon congratulates the community for its win and notes this is the first time, that she is aware of, that the NSW government has ever knocked back a coal mining proposal.

She says the decision only has wider significance if it is the start of a genuine shift by the NSW government from coal to clean, sustainable energy production.
