[Greens-Media] Snobbish Lord Mayor comments unhelpful (Vic, C Hartland)

"I'm not sure who appointed Lord Mayor Robert Doyle the world's greatest 
authority on the western suburbs, but calling us 'bogans' really doesn't 
help", said Greens MLC Colleen Hartland

"I'd like to see Mr Doyle lobby for young people in the west to have 
somewhere to go locally that doesn't feature a pokies machine, and decent 
public transport to get there."

"I'm a person from the western suburbs who comes to the city, and Robert 
Doyle is just going to have to deal with it.  I brought my best set of 
moccasins to Spring Street."

"News flash Robert Doyle - the Western Suburbs are part of Melbourne.  We 
wouldn't live anywhere else, and we really don't care much for snobs," 
said Ms Hartland
