Greens MP Lee Rhiannon visits southeast for series of meetings and tour on local forest campaigns


Greens MP and southeast spokesperson Lee Rhiannon will be visiting southeast NSW on August 10-11 to meet with local Greens groups and environment groups to discuss local forest campaigns. 

Ms Rhiannon has been working with a number of Greens groups on a campaign to close Eden Chipmill and create sustainable jobs for the southeast. 


Monday 10 August 
o	visit to South Brooman State forest to inspect the site of proposed logging that would impact on local grey-headed flying fax habitat.
o	guest speaker at a dinner organised by Bega Greens.

Tuesday 11 August
o	meeting with representatives of Southeast Regional Conservation Alliance to discuss Greens involvement in campaign to close Eden Chipmill.
