East Timorese attention on man accused of atrocities

The East Timor media (Reuters) is carrying the story of East Timorese
man, Guy Campos, who is accused of taking part in the fatal beating of
an 11-year-old boy, and other acts, during the Indonesian occupation.

In the Senate last week, Senate Leader Chris Evans told Greens Leader
Bob Brown that the Australian Federal Police are investigating
accusations against Mr Campos who came to Sydney for World Youth Day and
has sought to have his Visa extended.
