Australian Greens Senator Rachel Siewert has welcomed the findings of
the Northern Territory Emergency Response Review Board, and will address
the media about the ongoing Intervention.

"I have called in the past for the Rudd Government to recognise their
mistake in backing the rushed approach taken by the Northern Territory
Intervention. This report, commissioned by them, is a clear sign that
things have to change."

need to rebuild trust so we can work together in partnership to build a
better future," said Senator Siewert.
