Greens wish for Ramos-Horta recovery

Greens leader Bob Brown has joined national concern for East Timorese
President Jose Ramos-Horta.

"As a friend and admirer of the huge role Jose Ramos-Horta has played in
the creation of East Timor as an independent nation, I hope he survives
this assassination attempt for the sake of East Timor and the world,"
Senator Brown said.

"Jose Ramos-Horta is a great friend of Australia. This nation will be
with him in spirit as his own struggle for survival is fought," Senator
Brown said.
