Greens Win Support for Public Transport Inquiry 


Australian Greens Senator Scott Ludlam has successfully initiated an
inquiry into public transport, as Senators prepare to debate the
government's Nation Building Fund.

The Greens Public Transport Spokesperson, Senator Ludlam won support
from the Opposition for the wide reaching inquiry this morning. It is
the first time there has ever been a Senate inquiry into all public and
passenger transport in Australia.
