Greens build pressure for full rights recognition

Australian Greens Senator Nettle has urged the voters of Wentworth to
have a long hard look at both the Government and Labor's  track record
of homophobic attitudes and legislation before election day.

"Both Wentworth candidates are trying hard to spin their gay rights
credentials but neither support same sex marriage rights," Senator Kerry
Nettle said.

"Malcolm Turnbull either can't or won't deliver equality for Wentworth
residents in same sex relationships, and when it comes to marriage
rights nor will George Newhouse."

"The time for excuses has long gone. Both parties should join The Greens
in our unequivocal support for same sex relationship equality.
