Senator Nettle to present a 2007 Asia Pacific Human Rights award at NSW
Parliament

Background: The 2007 Asia Pacific Human Rights Awards recognise the work
of activists throughout the Asia Pacific region including China. A range
of awards will be presented by Amnesty International, the President of
Free China, Senator Nettle and others. The Chinese Government has
attempted to silence human rights advocates meeting in Sydney during
APEC week.
