LIVING BLACK, SBS television's Indigenous current affairs program, will
this week feature a story on the Burrup Peninsula in the Pibara Region
of Western Australia where ancient Aboriginal Rock Art is under threat
of being destroyed by a Woodside Mining development. 
Greens Senators Bob Brown and Rachel Siewert visited the Penninsula to
see the rock art, witness the destruction of the world's largest
concentration of rock art and call on the government to protect the area
from further destructive development.
Living Black airs on Wednesday 2nd of August 2006, at 6:00pm and repeats
on Monday 5:30pm and Tuesday 3:30pm.
